Area of Operations

Skagit Bay Search and Rescue (SBSAR) is the only dedicated marine search and rescue asset in Skagit County and has been responding to marine emergencies here for over 20 years.  Our area of responsibility stretches from the waters just north of Vendovi and Sinclair Islands , west of Cypress and Fidalgo Islands in Rosario Strait to Deception Pass, then then through Similk and Skagit Bays to the Skagit River delta, a response area of over 125 square miles.
